Hello again everyone! I'm sorry for my long absence. I am back from a trip to Barcelona (which took a little longer than expected-more to come about that) and I am getting back into normal life at Oslo. It's an absolutely beautiful day out today-sunny and quite warm. The only bad thing is there are puddles everywhere! The sun feels awesome though. I will just leave with a short post right now. I plan to put pictures from Barcelona up on Facebook today and work on blog posts from the trip now through the weekend. So, by the end of the weekend you should be able to be caught up with my life :)
I had class this morning and then met Sarah and my friend Aneta for waffles afterward. Sarah had to pick up some skis for a cabin trip she is going on this weekend, so I went with her to do that. I have a little break right now and then I am headed to the city center to meet a friend of a friend of a friend who lives in Oslo for coffee (May, friend of Tobba, friend of Steve). I'm excited :)
When I arrived back from Barcelona I was met with some wonderful "welcome home" packages! My roommates at Elmira sent me Valentine's cards and some pictures to hang on my wall, along with a couple other things. Thank you so much guys. I miss you a ton! I also got a package from Debbie and Dale Hooker filled with some tissues, lotion (very useful thank you) and some goodies. What a pleasant surprise! Oh, and a lovely note. The notes that come with the packages are probably my favorite part honestly. I like to hear how everyone is doing. It's great that you (Deb and Dale) got to spend some quality time with Julia. It sounds like she is a bunch of fun. I can't believe she is so mobile now! When I see her she will have gotten so big! The last package was from the Sticek family, via Julie. I got a nice handwritten letter, along with some candy and other food products, oh and a recipe. I'm so spoiled! (or maybe just loved?) So thank you to all of you who contributed to the mail I got. It was so nice to be home after a tiring trip and coming home to such "love" was wonderful.
Like I said, I will be working on the blog in the next few days. I'm sorry to everyone I have not gotten to talk to or will not talk to for a while. These next few weeks are going to be quite busy, so I will try my best to keep in touch. But for now I must leave you. Until next time!
